Yetunde Akilapa, Actress Accused of Stealing Recounts Her Ordeal

The Nollywood actress in the middle of theft scandal, Yetunde Akilapa, narrates her side of the story in an interview with Encomium magazine. She says the whole incident on January 12 was a mystery to her but she has been delivered by God.

Boko Haram Kill 22 People In Church in Adamawa

Boko Haram members armed with guns and explosives reportedly killed 22 people at a busy church service in Waga Chakawa village in Adamawa state on Sunday morning, before burning houses and taking residents hostage during a four-hour siege, witnesses said.

The 22 people who were killed in the attack were buried today.

SSS releases Nasir El-Rufai on bail

Former FCT Minister Nasir El Rufai has been released on bail by the State Security Service hours after he reported to the security agency to answer some questions. (Pictured above with Amaechi)

According to reports, Mallam El-Rufai was released in the early hours of Tuesday morning after about 15 hours in SSS custody.

I noticed he hasn't tweeted anything about this interrogation since his release...which is unlike him. His bail conditions have not been made public.

First Bank Employees Arrested For Allegedly Stealing N6.5 Million From Customer’s Account

Three bank employees and their two accomplices were on Monday arraigned before Chief Magistrate A.O. Awogboro over the theft of N6.5 million from a customer’s account.

They are facing a 12-count charge bordering on stealing, forgery and conspiracy. The men, Timothy Ibeh, 24; Samuel Dada, 27; Adeyinka Awojobi, 29; Obaseki Ojo, 26, and Simon Abu, 26, were docked at a Tinubu Magistrate Court, Lagos.

2 Brothers Die of "MAGUN" After Sleeping With Uncles’ Wives in Ibadan

Two brothers, Kunmi and Adeniyi Adetokun died within days of each late last year in Oyo state and family members say it was after they slept with their uncles' wives. Regent University Student Buys Cannabis With School Fees (PHOTO)

A Nigerian undergraduate student who used his tuition fee to buy hard drug has been arrested for drug trafficking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency said in a statement on Saturday.

NDLEA said the suspect, Udiomeh Kufre Ita, a student of the faculty of Management Sciences at the Regent University in Ghana, was arrested at the weekend at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. He was caught with 1.745 kilogrammes of dried weeds that tested positive for cannabis popularly called hemp.
