Man kills wife During Naming Ceremony Of Their Twins In Edo (GRAPHIC PHOTO)

Tragedy struck in Edo State at the weekend when a couple preparing for the naming ceremony of their twins engaged in a fight which led to the death of the wife, simply identified as Osarumwense.
A witness said the couple, which celebrated the birth of the twins last Sunday, were preparing for the naming ceremony yesterday when the tragedy occurred.

The incident occurred after a heated argument over the breastfeeding of the infants.
The husband, Mr. Endurance Enadeba, had reportedly asked his wife to breastfeed the babies when they were crying while the woman said she wanted to urinate first.

Edo Immigration Deports 120 Illegal Immigrants

The Edo state command of Nigeria Immigration Service has apprehended over 300 illegal immigrants from Niger, Chad, Mali, Ghana and Guinea during an operation conducted by the command in the state.

Parading the immigrants at the command headquarters in Benin City, Controller of Immigration, Edo state command, Mr David Akwo said that after screening the immigrants,120 of those arrested have been deported.
