Okada Rider Arrested for Raping Female Passenger

The Abia State Police Command said it has taken into custody a middle-aged man ( names withheld ), for allegedly raping a female passenger who boarded his bike late in the night.

Commissioner of Police, Adamu Ibrahim, who said this in a statement, said the incident took place around 9pm at Ntigha area of the state.

According to the police, the female passenger ( names withheld) boarded the bike, marked AB5023 TB, at Ntigha Junction and was heading for Umukalu Ntigha, but the amorous motorcyclist instead diverted her to a farm where he allegedly raped her.

Police said the randy suspect also dispossessed the victim of N850 after rapping her.

The suspect, according to police will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are over.

Police added that it had arrested one Nnenna Ohaja of Ogbodiukwu Umuokpara in Umuahia North Local Government Area, for allegedly “keeping custody of two boys aged five and seven suspected to have been stollen.”

The suspect, according to police, later confessed during interrogation that one Obinna of Obingwa Local Government Area, and Onyemaechi Alo from Asaba , Delta State gave her the children to sell at the cost of N250,000 each.

Consequently, Alo was trailed and picked up by detectives who grilled him and he confessed to the crime, blaming it all on Satan .

Police said the victims identified as Destiny Clement and Godspower Ikechukwu, both indigenes of Delta State, have since been reunited with their parents while investigations into the matter were going on.
