Fani-Kayode Withdraws Claims That Miss Anasoh, Miss Uchegbu Were His Ex-Lovers

Barely 24 hours after former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, formally withdrew the claim of his alleged intimate relationship with Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, he has also retracted a similar statement he made on Miss Chioma Anasoh and Miss Adaobi Uchegbu.

Gunmen KIDNAP Anglican Archbishop in Port-Harcourt

UNKNOWN gunmen in Rivers State, on Friday night, abducted Archbishop Ignatius Kattey, the Dean of the Anglican Communion in Nigeria and Archbishop, Niger Delta North Diocese. The victim was said to have been whisked away with his wife, Beatrice, by the kidnappers around Aleto Bridge, Eleme at about 10.30pm while on his way to Port Harcourt.

Sources close to the archbishop said he was driving to Port Harcourt to pass the night there so he could be at the airport to receive the Primate of the church, Primate Nicolas Oko, who was due in the state Saturday.

Cases of ladies leading deadly robbery gang is fast becoming a trend in Nigeria, with Lagos taking the lead. It seems prostitution is no longer paying some wayward ladies as much as they expect, hence the decision to take to the dangerous trade of armed robbery.

This is the case of Chioma Ezekwesiri, a Law graduate from the University of Lagos.
Chioma, who leads a 7-man robbery gang, was arrested with her gang members during an operation by SARS operatives after they received a distressed call from Bolatito Hotel in the Ijaiye area of Lagos.

‘I paid N1.5 million For My Baby' - Cameroonian Lawyer

A lawyer from Cameroon, Mrs Ngala Norgu Julia, has been arrested by men of the Cross River State Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, for allegedly being in possession of a one- week -old baby girl which she claimed she was delivered of by a herbalist at Okitiputa, Ondo State.

Mr Samuel Igochi, the Comptroller of Immigration, Cross River State Command, said Ngala was arrested by the Intelligence and Investigation Team of the Service at the Calabar port while trying to smuggle the baby to Cameroon. “She claimed a herbalist in Okitikpupa, Ondo State gave her some herbs which she took in November 2012 after which she got pregnant and delivered the baby but there are no signs in her that she actually delivered that baby”, Ogochi said.
