Designer Chuks Collins Suffers Kidney Failure, Needs Your Help

One of Nigeria's top fashion designers, Chuks Collins is suffering from kidney failure. Chuks, who is only 29, had an accident sometime last year that wasn't properly treated. He injured his leg and head in the accident and unfortunately the tissues in his leg didn't heal properly which caused cellulitis. The cellulitis caused renal disease which affected his kidneys. Chuks has been going for dialysis since July this year. His doctors told him recently that the lifespan of the kidney functioning in his body is just two weeks. Nigerian Soldiers Beat Up Their Brigade Commander For Slapping One Of Them

Soldiers attached to the 333 Artillery Regiment in Maiduguri, and serving under the newly established 37 Brigade, have beaten up their Acting Brigade Commander, Colonel O.U. Obono for allegedly slapping one of them, reliable defence sources have told reporters.

Sources, who witnessed the incident but asked not to be named for their own safety, told PREMIUM TIMES the incident occurred on Monday, September 4 at the 333 Battalion parade ground while the soldiers were on night roll call, known as tatoon in military parlance.
