THE Director-General of the newly established National Task Force on Illegal Importation and Smuggling of Small Arms, Ammunition and Light Weapons into Nigeria, Chief Emmanuel Osita Okereke, has protested invasion of his office in Abuja by men suspected to be members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).Addressing the newsmen in Abuja, Okereke alleged that, though the EFCC offered him no reason for the invasion during the course of the action, EFCC operatives took away two of his aides, including one Mr. Victor and his personal secretary, Miss Vivian Okafor, who was only released at 10:pm on Tuesday, after about a week in the commission’s detention.
