The Police Command again has uncovered another baby-making factory in Egbu, near Owerri the State capital, arresting the proprietor, one Dr. James Ezuma who runs a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), and a clinic. 16 girls were rescued in the process.

Woman Found Stabbed to Death Days After Posting FaceBook Warning


5 days after posting the message above on her Facebook page, Michelle Rowling was found stabbed to death in her apartment. Michelle posted this on Monday November 25th and was found stabbed multiple times on Saturday November 30th.

Now if you read Michelle's responses to friends on that same post, she explained that she made the statement because of some bad news she received. Friends later revealed that the day of the ominous post, Michelle had learned that her ex-boyfriend had been released from jail. See the Facebook post and her replies after the cut...

19 Year Old MAN Rapes 3 Year Old GIRL in Ekiti


A 19-year-old man, Usman Joshua, has been arrested by the police in Ado Ekiti for defiling a three-year-old girl. Joshua, who lives in the same building with the girl’s parents, was said to have lured her into his room with biscuit.

ASUU update: FG extends resumption deadline for lecturers to Dec 9th


As a mark of respect to the late Prof Festus Iyayi, past president of ASUU, whose funeral rites begins tomorrow to Sat December 7th, the Federal Govt has decided to shift its deadline for resumption of lecturers to Monday December 9. This was made known by the Executive Secreatry of the Nigerian University Commision, Prof Julius Okojie while addressing journalist in Abuja yesterday.

21-year-old Rickesha Burns from Phoenix, Arizona is being held by police after her two-year-old son was admitted to hospital with a bleeding back-passage.

Doctors who examined the boy found a number of injuries such as bruises on his neck and hip. They also discovered his mum’s s*x toy jammed so far up his bunghole that it will require surgery to remove it.

Trader Mixes, Sells Local Drugs as Cough Syrup


The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has apprehended a trader, Chijioke Nwagu, for allegedly manufacturing and selling counterfeit drugs.

According to NAFDAC, the suspect, who lives on Elemijaye Street, Ajamgbadi area of Lagos State, carries out the illegal manufacture in the toilet of his two-bedroom flat where he mixes chemicals in a 200-litre drum.

Man in Court For 73,000 Naira Love Scam (LOL)


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned one Fisayo Ajibola before Justice O.A Ipaye of a Lagos High Court, Ikeja, for allegedly conning one Audun Gerhardsen of some money. The victim thought he was dealing with a white female.

The defendant was arraigned on eight counts of possession of fraudulent documents and obtaining money by false pretence, a statement by EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said on Tuesday.

FUTO Sacks All Academic Staff


For failure to return to classrooms, the Senate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has sacked all academic staff on its payroll with immediate effect. The sack order was made known by the Public Relations Officers (PRO) of the institution, Mr Chike Ezenwa, while speaking with the Nigerian Tribune in Owerri, through telephone.
