Police Arrest 138 Youths in Taraba

The Commissioner of Police in Taraba said on Tuesday that the command arrested 138 youth who were being conveyed from Wukari to Jalingo on a suspicious mission.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria that the youth, whose ages ranged from 20 to 30, were intercepted in Mutum-Biyu on Monday as they were being convened to Jalingo in seven buses.

CAR THIEF Back in Police NET 1 Year After Pardon

When the Chief Justice of Lagos State, Justice Ayotunde Philips, freed 233 inmates from the Kirikiri Prison, in September 2012, she urged them to go and sin no more.

However, barely one year after, one of the inmates, Musa Ojo, has been arrested for alleged armed robbery.

Operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Ikeja, said they reportedly arrested Ojo and two others, now at large, on September 14, after they snatched a Toyota Corolla car at gunpoint.

Gunmen KILL 160, Abduct 10 WOMEN in Zamfara

Gusau — Governor Abdulazez Yari of ZamfaraState said in Gusau, Monday, that gunmen killed 160 people and abducted 10 married women in different villages of the state in the last three months.

Yari made the disclosure when he addressed members of the state House Assembly on security situation in the state.
