So yesterday, 20th September, was Nigerian rapper Ruggedman's birthday.
And as expected, a lot of birthday messages, congratulations kept pouring in for the birthday guy.

OAP Edward Fortune (popularly called Fawtchune Toh Badt) of Rockcity 101.9FM Abeokuta, not wanting to be left out, hollered at Ruggedman on air, and wished him a happy birthday.
He had been on the afternoon shift between 4 - 4.30pm when this happened.

Gunmen Storm Kenyan Shopping Mall, at least 22 People Killed

Gunmen stormed a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya this afternoon Saturday September 21 killing at least 22 people in what could possibly be a terrorist attack. An eyewitness claimed the gunmen told Muslims to stand up and leave the mall and that only non-Muslims would be targeted. You recall that there has been reports that JayZ and Chris Brown had a falling out over Chris's tumultuous relationship with Rihanna (who JayZ helped discover and later signed to his RocNation family). JayZ had reportedly threatened to end Chris' career if he hurt Rihanna.

Taraba House Of Assembly Speaker Escapes Assassination Attempt

The Speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Haruna Tsokwa, escaped being killed by unknown gunmen on September 18, 2013, Wednesday.The assault occurred in a border town called Bade, which is located between Kaduna and Nasarawa States.

According to a source of SaharaReporters, the gunmen attacked in a commando style. They fired shots at the convoy, but their attempts to cause severe damage were unsuccessful.

Two of the Speaker’s guards, police officers attached to the convoy, were wounded in a gunfight. The officers, identified as Levi Kenneth and Daniel Innocent, both 35 years old, were almost immediately taken to the hospital, after the attackers were overpowered. The gunmen were able to escape.

It would be noted that Hon. Haruna Tsokwa Tsokwa has been in the middle of the political controversy, concerning the return to Taraba of ailing GovernorDanbaba Danfulani Suntai. The Speaker led the resistance against the efforts of Governor Suntai to resume his office in his condition.
