This is to bring to your notice the behaviour of officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) stationed at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) junction Bus Stop Road, Yaba, Lagos.
On Thursday, May 2, 2013 at about 11.00am, l was driving towards UNILAG for the annual general meeting of the Nigeria Medical Association holding at UNILAG and suddenly I saw a road sign with the inscription: Do not enter.

Pupils escape drowning in Lagos flood
The timely arrival of emergency workers on Tuesday afternoon saved hundreds of pupil of Ogba Primary School from being drowned. Some of the primary school pupils, however, sustained varying degrees of minor injuries and were treated by the Lagos State Ambulance Service.
Court strikes out drug trafficking suit over suspect’s death
JUSTICE Mohammed Yunusa of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, on Tuesday, struck out a suit filed by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) against a drug suspect, Modupe Opeyemi, as a result of her death.

BET Awards just released their 2013 nominees list. 2face Idibia and Ice Prince were nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category. The two Nigerian music stars were nominated alongside R2bees from Ghana, Radio and Weasel from Uganda, Donald from South Africa, and Toya Delazy from South Africa. The award will hold 30th June.
