Osaze Odemwengie Donates N1m to Bendel Insurance FC

Nigeria international and former Bendel insurance FC player, Osaze Odemwengie, on Sunday donated N1 million cash to the club.

Presenting the money on behalf of Odemwengie, Mr Austin Uwagboe, said the donation was part of Osazee’s appreciation to the club that made him who he is today.

(KTVI) – A 76-year-old Wisconsin man is accused of murdering his wife and then trying to commit suicide because she was “nagging him.”

Jack Lang was arrested after authorities say he shot his wife June on Wednesday, April 16. Police found a .22 caliber revolver in the home. According to police documents, Lang said he and his wife went to lunch Wednesday afternoon.

14 More Kidnapped Schoolgirls Escape From Boko Haram

 Another 14 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram Islamists in the northeast have escaped, leaving 85 missing on Saturday after an attack that has sparked global outrage, an official said.

Boko Haram Claims Responsibility For Abuja Bomb Blast

The leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, claimed responsibility for a bombing in Abuja that killed at least 75 people in Abuja. Agence France-Presse last Sunday reports that Shekau made the claim in a video message it obtained on Saturday.

“We are the ones that carried out the attack in Abuja,” Shekau said in the 28-minute video, referring to the deadly attack in Nigeria’s capital which targeted a bus station packed with morning commuters.
