Shocking, Horrible Photos from A Kidnappers' Den Discovered in Oyo State (Photos)
This is so heartbreaking! Soka community in Ibadan, Oyo State turned to a Mecca of a sort on Saturday, when an abandoned property at Idi Mangoro area, suspected to be a kidnappers' den, was discovered by some people who were looking for their missing family member, an okada rider.
Nigerian Tribune reports that the family stumbled on the building situated in an undeveloped part of the community, and went to check it out after hearing voices from there. And on entering the building, they met the shock of their lives. About 15 chained people, suspected to have been kidnapped, highly malnourished were in the building, but by the time Sunday Tribune got there, only six of them - three males and three females were left.

Twitter website 'blocked' in Turkey
Twitter users in Turkey report that the social media site has been blocked in the country.
Some users trying to open the twitter.com website are apparently being redirected to a statement by Turkey's telecommunications regulator. It cites a court order to apply "protection measures" on the website.
Turkey shoots down Syrian military jet
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan says its armed forces have shot down a Syrian military jet which had violated its airspace. He warned such action by Syria merited a "heavy response".
But Syria accused Turkey of "blatant aggression", saying the plane had been over Syrian territory at the time. The incident reportedly occurred in an area where Syrian rebels and government forces have been fighting for control of a border crossing.
