Immediate Disbursement of Loan to Peasant Farmers for 2013/2014 Cropping Season
SPECIAL ANOUNCEMENT
All State Chairmen of NCGA are requested to attend a very crucial meeting of the Association that will hold at Golden Gate Hotel Wuse zone 5 on Friday 17th May,2013 at 9am.They should come with the following documents:
A comprehensive list of registered members of the Association in their state.
A list of those that obtained loan form and have paid 10% counterpart equility to Bank of Agriculture(BOA).
A list of those who have obtained loan form but have not paid 10% counterpart equity to BOA.
Please note that every Local Government Area that has a minimum of 200 farmers will become a cooperative unit that will become a cooperative unit that will have a Cassava Processing Centre.
Registration of members and Sales of Loan forms still continues.

First batch of loan form shall be screened and submitted to the nearest branch of BOA immediately after the above meeting.We hereby request the state Ministry of Agriculture to kindly join hand with NCGA state officers to screen,to ascertain those eligible for loan.Screening shall include verification of farm,measurement of cultivable portions of the farm,verification of guarantors and checking on the ability of the farmer to perform.Arrangement is being made to release tractors to states that have a minimum of 2,000 farmers.
VACANT POSITIONS FOR IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT
NCGA shall immediately employ the following categories of workers who must be indigenes and residents of the state where they will work as Extension Officers.
Category A:BSc or HND Holder in Agriculture related discipline with 5 years experience in extension services.
Category B:Senior School Certificate Holder with ability to operate and ride motorcycles.
State Chairmen must seek the assistance of the State Ministry of Agriculture to screen the applicants and recommend 5 applicants in category A,10 applicants in category B for final interview by Employment Committee of NCGA
All short listed candidates from the 6 South Geopolitical zones shall come for final selection at the premises of House of Prayer Ministries,behind Damilak Petrol Station,Ondo Road Akure on 28th May 2013,9am at their own cost.
All short listed candidates from the 6 North Geopolitical zones must attend final interview and selection on June 4,2013 at Golden Gate Hotel,Wuse zone 5 at 9am.Candidate shall bear their transport and other cost of travelling.
