Some intense news is breaking from the hip hop world!
TMZ has the scoop that rapper 50 Cent, aka Curtis Jackson, has been charged with a count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism after injuring his baby mama and causing thousands of dollars of damages to her condo on June 23.
50 is accused of kicking down the woman's bedroom door after she locked herself inside during an altercation, injuring her in the process.
In addition to the domestic violence and damage to the door, 50 allegedly caused around $7,000 in damages to the condo from broken chandeliers, furniture, a TV, and a lamp, plus a ransacked bedroom closet.
If he's convicted of all five counts, he could face up to five years in jail and $46,000 in fines, according to TMZ. We'll know more when 50 is arraigned on July 22.
