Don’t come for Jay-Z’s family, unless you’re ready for war. Nearly two years after Lil Wayne threatened to kidnap Beyonce on the song, “It’s Good,” off Tha Carter IV, Hov is swinging back on a new track from his upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail called “La Familia.”
The Cash Money-Roc Nation drama all began back in 2011 when Weezy took shots at Jay-Z for calling apparently out his father Birdman on Watch The Throne’s “H.A.M.,” in which Jay-Z raps, “I’m like really half a billi n—-, really you got Baby money; Keep it real with n—-, n—– ain’t got my lady money.”
Wayne wasn’t too fond of the Roc Nation mogul’s diss and decided to go eye for eye on “It’s Good,” rapping, “Talkin’ ’bout baby money, I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, Get that ‘how much you love your lady?’ money.”
Guess Jay-Z wasn’t going to let that one slide.
