LASU Riot: School Shut Down Indefinitely

The situation at Lagos State University right now is very tense as angry students took to the campus destroying multi-million naira properties. Some even stoned the school’s VC, Professor John Obafunwa who ran for safety. The riot has disrupted LASU’s 2nd semester exam and now the university has been shut down indefinitely.

The school management shared the bulletin above announcing the indefinite closure, and asked all students to vacate the school premises until further notice. Exams have also been put off until further notice. Trouble started at the University yesterday after the VC Prof. John Obafunwa refused to re-open the registration portal for over 1200 students left to register for examinations.
