Gbolarumi advises Ladoja over comments on Adedibu

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Alhaji Hazeem Gbolarumi, has advised a former governor of the state and leader of the Accord Party, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, to sort out his political problems with the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and Governor Abiola Ajimobi without dragging the name of the late PDP leader, Chief Lamidi Adedibu, into it.
Gbolarumi, who is also a strong acolyte of the late Adedibu, gave this advice in a statement issued in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on Saturday, berating Senator Ladoja “for making a derogatory remark about the late politician,” while also condemning the alleged disruption of a rally organised by the Accord party by thugs allegedly sponsored by the ACN in Olomi area of Ibadan.

“It is unfortunate that Ladoja could be quoted as saying that Oyo State should not descend into the Adedibu era where political thugs held the state by the jugular. How can Senator Ladoja make such an uncharitable remark about Baba Adedibu who was his political godfather and mentor?

Meanwhile, Gbolarumi also congratulated the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Abdul Azeez Arisekola, over his elevation as the deputy national president of the Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).
