Category Supervisor – Needed
Job Role:Finance
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Reporting To: Senior Manager Procurement
Job Details:
Support the Procurement Transformation project and fully embed Sourcing
Coach, and develop the IS Procurement category team by enhancing local Procurement capability in all aspects of best-in-class Procurement skills – Strategy development and execution, Industry, Economic, and Supplier analysis
Implement key projects through effective project management, utilizing appropriate eSourcing tools to maximize speed, efficiency and drive benefits e.g. e- RFI’s e-RFP’s, e-auctions, spend analysis.
Manage IS and Network Group and local management to deliver a target Customer Satisfaction score
Handle multiple priorities from IS and Network Group project managers
Manage multiple supplier OEM relationships
Deliver best value for MTNN while driving stretch savings targets
Prepare and handle presentations to Executive management
Job Conditions:
Normal MTNN working conditions May be required to work extended hours Open Plan Office
Requirements / Skills:
4 years’ work experience including:
Minimum of 2 years in purchasing function
Strong commercial acumen, with excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, both verbal and written with ability to readily engage and influence a range of colleagues and senior stakeholders
Analytical, numerate, enthusiastic, tenacious. Sound commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to the wider business process outside immediate Functional responsibilities
Excellent attention to detail, and ability to prepare clear and professional presentations or reports for utilisation at senior levels within MTNN and the supply base
Able to deal with ambiguity, and manage multiple relationships, with an ability to take criticism and learn from feedback
Strong IT skills base, including intermediate proficiency in Office applications.
Employment Status: Permanent
Qualification:
Minimum of a First degree. Possession of a post graduate qualification certification will be an advantag
