Four persons have been arrested by the Edo State Police Command in connection with the murder of Olaitan Oyerinde, Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, disclosed on Wednesday.The former Principal Private Secretary to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State was murdered on Friday, 4 May, 2012, at his Ugbor Road residence.
“I can confirm to Nigerians that four persons have been arrested over the murder of Olaitan Oyerinde, and investigations are still ongoing,” Abubakar said.
Prior to his death, Oyerinde was the Deputy National Secretary of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC)
