On answering she was stunned to hear her partner, David Davies, having sex with another woman.
Sickened, Lisa stayed on the line for THREE HOURS listening to the sordid affair — to make sure she had every bit of evidence she needed to confront her love-rat boyfriend.
Lisa, 28, made it the end of the line for their five-year relationship, chucking out David, 29, from their home.
Lisa, a nurse from Llanelli, South Wales, says: “Shocked doesn’t even start to cover it.
“It’s your worst nightmare to think about your partner in bed with someone else. Hearing it live made my stomach turn.”
Lisa heard the love of her life and his mistress have sex TWICE.
She says: “He was supposed to be at a work party, then at his parents’.
At first I heard a muffled sound and assumed he had called by mistake. I was about to hang up when I heard a voice and realised he wasn’t alone.
“I could hear a woman but they weren’t talking. They were kissing and panting and grunting.
“When I realised I was listening to the father of my two kids having sex with another woman I broke down.
“A thousand things ran through my mind — how could he do this to me? Who was she, when did it start?
“Once the call ended I didn’t get any sleep, I wanted to cry one minute and scream the next.”
The next day Davies continued his web of lies.
Lisa says: “I needed answers but David didn’t turn up until the afternoon. I had sent the children away with a relative and he could tell something was wrong straight away.
“He looked guilty and when I told him I’d heard everything on the phone he checked his call records.
“He just looked down at the floor as I yelled. He told me the girl was a woman he worked with and insisted it was a one-off.”
Lisa — who was first chatted up by David in a Swansea bar in 2006 — sent him packing. But she couldn’t get rid of the niggling feeling that her ordeal wasn’t over.
She says: “I’d met the girl at David’s office, where she worked in council housing benefits. She was never friendly and I couldn’t put it to the back of my mind.
“I made it through Christmas for the kids’ sake, though inside I was a mess. I had trouble sleeping so I decided to get more answers.
“I found out the girl’s number and at first she didn’t want to speak. I knew she had a boyfriend and a child, so I talked about my broken family and my children. That’s when the truth came out.
“She admitted David and her had been sleeping together for more than a year, every Wednesday, when I thought he was at football practice. That was the final blow.”
While the first two months being single were difficult, Lisa decided to make changes.

She says: “I’d been losing weight since the start of 2010 after having my son Jacob. In a year I went from a size 20 to eight, losing seven stone.”
But even though she was thrilled with her weight loss, she had lost her breasts and needed serious toning up. Lisa, who also has a daughter, Kacey, six, adds: “My flat chest affected my confidence. Being single spurred me to do something about it.”
Booking herself in for a breast augmentation, Lisa underwent surgery to get new 34DD boobs.
She says: “That, and weight loss, boosted my confidence.
“I started to focus on keeping fit and took up power lifting to get in shape — I was recently awarded the title of Wales’s Strongest Woman.
“It’s now three years since the horrible call and I couldn’t be happier — I’m even dating a new man.”
David says: “We were heading for a split but the way it all came out was regrettable.
“I do my best to help Lisa out with the kids — they are the most important thing.”
