65-Year-Old Pastor Dies In His Lovers Bedroom In Kenya [VIDEO]

A man said to be a pastor died Tuesday afternoon in mysterious circumstances in Nairobi’s Buruburu estate. According to police and eyewitness accounts, the 65-year-old pastor was found dead inside a woman’s bedroom.

The woman, who has since recorded a statement with Buruburu police, said the pastor had gone to her house for a prayer session, but neighbours claimed the two were having an affair. The woman was released as police conduct investigations into the incident.

Kano Emirate’s family celebrate CBN governor Sanusi’s suspension

ChannelsTV reports that members of the Kano emirate called Dabo Family Women Association gathered today to celebrate the suspension of the CBN governor, Sanusi Lamido.

Addressing a news conference at the Emir’s palace on Saturday, a family member, Hajia Binta Sanusi, said that the suspension was “an honour done to their son who served his country truthfully and was later rewarded with mischievous allegations”.

Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, the boss of one of Mexico’s most powerful drug trafficking operations, was arrested in Mexico, a US official told CNN Saturday.

The official said Guzman, accompanied by a female, was captured in a joint operation with Mexican marines and Drug Enforcement Administration authorities overnight at a hotel in the beach resort of Mazatlán.

The operation had been in the works for four or five weeks, the official said.

Banker Allegedly Dies in Police Custody

According to reports and tweets from David Ekpo, a staff of Ecobank, Babatunde Oke was allegedly killed in police custody yesterday. Tunde (pictured above), who worked at the Ladipo Oluwole, Ogba branch of the bank, had been accused of fraud and handed over to the police.

Banker Wife Killer Sentenced To Death

Two years after his wife, Titilayo Akolade, a banker was murdered in cold blood, Justice Latifah Okunnu of an Ikeja High Court yesterday found Akolade Arowolo guilty of killing the deceased and subsequently sentenced him to death by hanging.
