Viral video: Hitler reacts to Google’s decision to kill reader

On the Internet, Hitler angrily reacts to everything. He went ballistic when he found they left out the monster in the movie adaptation of Watchmen, and had similar reactions to a lack of features on Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X, when he was informed that his gaming account was suspended on X-box Live, and when Obama visited Berlin.
But the impending death of Google Reader has hit him really hard.



“Anyone who thinks social media is a valid replacement for an RSS-reader, leave the room now”, says a visibly furious Hitler before launching into a tirade with the only three people left. “WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH DO THEY HAVE TO DESTROY EVERYTHING GOOD?”, read the subtitles. “How dare they take away Google reader? I had 300 feeds in there!

The Hitler videos which are called “Downfall”, are a series of parody-subtitled videos based on a pinnacle scene from Der Untergang (2004), a German WWII drama revisiting the last ten days of Adolf Hitler’s life and eventual suicide in his Berlin underground bunker. (More on the meme here)
