He went ballistic when he found they left out the monster in the movie adaptation of Watchmen, and had similar reactions to a lack of features on Microsoft’s Flight Simulator X, when he was informed that his gaming account was suspended on X-box Live, and when Obama visited Berlin.
But the impending death of Google Reader has hit him really hard.“Anyone who thinks social media is a valid replacement for an RSS-reader, leave the room now”, says a visibly furious Hitler before launching into a tirade with the only three people left. “WHY ON GODS GREEN EARTH DO THEY HAVE TO DESTROY EVERYTHING GOOD?”, read the subtitles. “How dare they take away Google reader? I had 300 feeds in there!
The Hitler videos which are called “Downfall”, are a series of parody-subtitled videos based on a pinnacle scene from Der Untergang (2004), a German WWII drama revisiting the last ten days of Adolf Hitler’s life and eventual suicide in his Berlin underground bunker. (More on the meme here)
