President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Dr Shehu Misau, as the substantive Administrator of the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN), Abuja.
This is contained in a statement issued and signed by Mr Tope Ajakaiye, the Director Press and Public Relations, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation in Abuja on Monday.
The statement said the appointment was for a term of four years and renewable subject to performance for another four-year term.
Misau, until his appointment, was the acting administrator of the institute since 2009.
He obtained his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of
Maiduguri and a Doctorate in Public Sector Economics from Leicester University in UK
The statement added that he was at various times an Executive Director of African Capacity Building Foundation based in Harare Zimbabwe.
He also served as Director of Revenue, Budget Office of the Federation, Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Tourism Development in Bauchi State.
Misua was also Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, NAFDAC as well as Group Head, Public Sector of Afribank Nigeria PLC.
