Protect Your Kids From Specialised Rapists, Police Tells Parents

Parents in Borno State have been advised to ensure they keep an eagle eye on their kids to prevent them from being raped by specialists.

This advice was coming from the Police in Borno on the increasing rate of rape and other sexual abuses of minors in the State. Spokesman for the command, DSP Gideon Jubrin made this statement in Maiduguri.

He said: “The command wishes to bring to the attention of the general public the activities of some individuals who engage in luring or seducing minors.

“This command has received reports of criminal activities of some people, who lure minors into homosexuality, rape and other related offences’’, it said.

According to him, five persons had been arrested and that all cases would be charged to court at the end of ongoing investigations.

He alsoappealed to residents to report any suspicious activities in their neighbourhood for immediate action by the security agencies.
